โThe balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders.
One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature in the room. One of us slept well, while the other woke up feeling hot. If you prefer a cooler sleeping environment, consider bringing a portable fanโand donโt forget an extension...

โThe property was outdated but clean. Just be careful when showering if other people are using water the water will be fine and turn scalding hot, tried to readjust but would do the same thing again. If you get up early not a problem.

โWe visit Salida around 10 times a year for quick getaways and this is our go to motel. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and the hot tub is a dream after skiing or after a day on the river. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. We love that we are also a very short stroll from our favorite Mexican restaurant in Salida, Casa Calaca.โ
