The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and bright. The food was very tasty, unfortunately ran out of bacon for breakfast with still over an hour to go before it ended. Good safe underground parking. Short walk to the Center of Arnhem. Would recommend and would return. Might have to get up earlier for breakfast though.

Great room for three people. Friendly staff. Arnhem is lovely town, easy to walk around and with good public transport. The hotel is almost next to John Frost Bridge. A short bus ride to the Airborne Museum. Near to the cathedral.

Good value

It’s an okay stay the rooms are nice and clean my only issue is our bathroom was very small and not super ergonomic. It’s a good cost effective stay. Check out the breakfast before you commit if you are from North America, it’s a very European breakfast so it may not be up to your liking.

Rooms a little too minimalistic, but comfortable

Big room but very sparse and not very cosy. The bed was fine as was the breakfast, Near everything in town so great location and free parking.

The room size was fantastic great stay luggage storage great before and after check in. Big issue made about bar and or restaurant tab being aggregated with my room tab i did not wish it to be so and I had my way Recommended

Great stay!

The service was great this time around! It looks like the previous hotel manager was changed, and that is very visible. Fantastic service, very welcoming and accommodating. I'll definitely be back next time when in Arnhem. Thank you all very much!

Great staff, lovely rooms, excellent location. Only complaint would be is that the toilet seat was the wrong fitting and was far too small for the actual toilet. A minor issue just quite irritating.

The hotel is well kept and comfortable. As other's pointed out, the parking is at first hard to find. There is an underground garage on site but you have to ring a bell on an overly complicated post with no instructions. When I arrived, no one answered so I parked in the street and walked around the front in the rain. After check-in though, it wasn't a problem. There is a good restaurant within and a fairly good breakfast buffet. Easy walking distance to numerous restaurants and sites. Recommended.

Bastion is a very nice and simple hotel in Arnhem. I like the hotel is clean and most of the people are nice. What I don't like: no TV English programs, there is nothing I could watch on TV, and another strange thing is the parking gate it can be only open by the hotel staff, instead of being able to be open with the room key. On my last stay the hotel manager was rude with me and disrespectful. The hotel manager tone of voice and attitude were not polite. She made me feel unwelcomed.
