What a lovely stay at a local family house. Had a wonderful time and can't thank Lucas and his family enough for hosting me. Lucas kindly picked me up from Arzua as their guesthouse is a bit outside of town. The family house is a typical charming galician home. I felt very welcomed and their daughter spoke fluent English which was great to learn more about the family and the area. Would love to come back one day and explore the lake. Muchos Gracias!

Atendimento excelente feito pelo Pepe, te trata como um neto querido. Para peregrinos, meu caso, a localização tem um desvio de 8km da rota, mas o Pepe te manda um e-mail e busca em Arzúa levando pra lá de volta pra continuar o caminho.

Everything was perfect. It’s a gorgeous setting in the country. Beautiful small lodgings. The staff/owners could not be nicer or more charming. The room was wonderful and the food was great. I loved it all.

Merits a repeat visit

Beautiful location in the countryside, delicious food and superb service of Don Pepe and his staff. He pick us at the Camino and took us back to continue our journey to Santiago the next day. Don Pepe was very helpful in locating my lost iPhone. I'll certainly come back with my wife.

Tranquility and comfort

Casa Lucas is off the beaten path but perfect if you want peace and quiet! There is a great view of the tranquil lake nearby. Ynez and Ana and their mom prepared us a sumptuous dinner-paella, stuffed peppers and hake fish- it was one of the best meals we've ever had in the Camino!
