I’m a UT Austin alumni and this was a visit to Austin after 20 some yrs with my college son. The hotel had a sense of class and its connections with the univ brought me back memories of UT days.
As for thr accommodation, it was spacious in and out and overall it was nice. However, I’d like to mention several things as to help improve the site.
1) The room was not so quiet — street noise and chatters from the corridor were transferred transparently.

“I enjoy the Hilton Garden Inn in Austin every time and it is still one of the top hotels in all of Austin. I highly recommend it to anyone as UT, the capital, great restaurants, etc. are all within walking distance!”
"I stayed 3 days for my wife's birthday, but the view was under construction so big noise woke my wife up and dust was everywhere outside so I couldn't open the door to balcony.
But when I checked in, nobody told me about this and I saw many people are using opposite side's elevator in next morning. It was very disappointed."
