"About the only positive thing I can say for this property is that it was quiet. Also the young lady at the reception desk when we checked out, listened, was sympathetic and very polite. Otherwise the negative points to this property overshadowed every thing else. The property was supposed to have Wi-Fi, and after checking in, there was NO Wi-Fi in our room, we returned to reception and inquired, their response was “well sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t”. "I was distressed when I learned that the street in front was torn up for reconstruction, but s it turned out that wasn't any problem at all. The property itself is charming with a lovely 19th century feel, like visiting your aunt in the old family home if she happened to love to keep things all clean and polished. It's just a few steps to parks and ice cream spots and swimming, but not noisy at all at night. And it's also just a few steps from the railiroad station. Breakfast is at a cafe a few blocks away. That ight be a problem in cold rainy weather, but in August was fine, and the breakfasts were very nice. Happy I stayed there."

"I booked this hotel as it had a bar and restaurant. We arrived late and needed food. We were told the restaurant was privately booked so we weren’t allowed in there. I asked if we could get food to our room and they bluntly said no. The rooms look like girl guide cabins and if things couldn’t get worse, a load of kids stayed next door on a school sports trip and made so much noise I couldn’t sleep. Absolutely avoid this place and look closer to Gothenburg "
