Nice stay at Santo Domingo Hotel

Family owned Old fashioned Hotel with a nice pool, resembling a old Hacienda, very friendly staff. Fresh coffee and basic breakfast was included with my accommodation rate. Close to the main Asuncion Local and long run bus station. Quiet and perfect for short stays. Thanks again!

superb service. Reception went out of way to help us get bus tickets. It is generally not very safe to walk around Asuncion after hours and the staff made us felt safe

There has been a quick change of sheets and towels in 2 weeks. That is it. And you have to go everywhere interesting by taxi. The owner is really nice and helpful, as is the other staff. Good reliable wife. Breakfast with fresh fruit. Big supermarket around the corner.

The hotel is clean and I love the staff! They are wonderful people! It’s a hotel so I only slept there. Secure underground parking for the car. The staff warned me that the area is dangerous. No complaints. Will stay there again! There is 1 woman there who spoke English and helped me communicate when ordering food. And she is beautiful!

The hotel is quite dated. The staff are accommodating and very friendly. Common areas are kept very clean. Beds linens were freshly laundered and ironed and were changed frequently. Hotel is adequate but not luxury. Dining room has limited options

I think it was the worst deal I got in Acuncion, the breakfast had basically no choice: no cold water,no cheese, no eggs, no meat, plastic wrapped plates with fruit, bad coffee. The pool looks nice, the bed is comfortable. There is a supermarket/mini shopping center around the corner, wifi works well. The place is noisy it had some annoying beeping sound that went through marrow and bone that never stopped somewhere in the lobby and even reached my room. Inconsiderate guests that make noise well past 23:00 something not common in Paraguay.

It didn’t match up with what was advertised on Expedia. Much below my expectations. The walls and doors are thin, so you hear everything. The air conditioning / heater unit is so loud that you can’t keep it on while you sleep. Although the staff was very nice, no one speaks English. It’s a room with a bed, running water, toilet, and a shower. But even that is giving it more praise than it deserves. The door only locks with the key, from both sides. So if you had to get out of the room in an emergency, you must locate your key and unlock the door first. I would not stay here again.

Incrível. Hotel limpo, atendentes atenciosos. Fui para Assunção competir Judô. E me machuquei. O hotel chamou equipe médica para dar apoio. Gostei muito. A proprietária é comunicativa, atenciosa com seus hóspedes.
