The water pressure in the shower was amazing, the bathroom space along with the living space of the room. Bed was so comfortable that we didn’t want to leave to explore the city. Front staff were lovely and helpful

A large group of friends decided to stay at this hotel before boarding an Adriatic Cruise. The location is fantastic Walking distance to acropolis and museums. A city bus tour stop is a few steps away from the hotel entrance. There are two great restaurants a very short walking distance from the hotel (one Italian and one Greek) The hotel staff was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable We would stay here again and again Thank you

Everything was good. The only complaint was the breakfast buffet was exactly the same everyday for seven days. Our advertised a jacuzzi which did not work.

The staff is 5 star all the way, but the hotel is two star; hence the low rating. -We stayed on the 7th floor, and sometimes the elevator worked, and sometimes it didn't. -I booked the Athenaeum Palace & Luxury Suites, but they put us in the Smart Hotel - that's not what I paid for. -Handy phone worked sometimes, and sometimes it didn't so we had no communication (local or international calls). -No ventilation in the bathroom; no window, and no vent. -Steps on the first floor were constructed incorrectly, and are extremely steep; be careful. -Air conditioner is for the entire floor, you can not control the air flow in your room (this is unheard of). It was extremely hot & it's not summer. -Mini fridge in the room stopped working. Our food spoiled, and the drinks were hot.

Somebody stole my backpack in the dining room in the hotel when i left it at my table and moved to get my breakfast. Too fast as when i came back to the table my bag was gone including my wallet, all my money, all my personal cards including my pp. Luckily i krpt the one credit card and some small change on me. Spoilt my holiday completely. Now to get emergency pp and get the hell outa here. Not coming back. Hotel ok after initial spiff. They gave me another room with windows. Bit noisy with traffic on highway in front of building. Rooms clean and staff great and helpful with my loss.

Large family group. We enjoyed our stay. Stab rod and Pannos at the bar were fun. Check in and service were excellent. We had no problems. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an absolute feast. Highly recommended!

OK hotel, maar wel gelegen aan zeer drukke weg

Bij inchecken werden we naar het Atheneum grand hotel gestuurd. Zogezegd omwille van fout bij de boeking, maar klonk niet heel geloofwaardig. Gelukkig zijn beide hotels redelijk vergelijkbaar, dus hebben er uiteindelijk niet tegen geprotesteerd. Maar helemaal correct is dit toch zeker niet. Het grootste minpunt van hotel is de ligging langs een heel drukke baan. Wisten we op voorhand, maar de wandeling naar het centrum is niet zo aangenaam. Vaak ook redelijk gevaarlijk om over te steken. Andere minpunten waren de zeer kleine liften, een onaangename geur die soms uit de badkamer kwam, en vooral het gebrek aan privacy tijdens het douchen. Er was een soort van glazen wand tussen de douche en het balkon, waardoor er best wel wat inkijk kon zijn vanop het straat in de badkamer/douche. De pluspunten waren het grote bed, de grootte van de badkamer, de aparte wc, en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel.

This hotel is in walking distance to some shopping, restaurants and good for being near the airport. The staff were nice and the breakfast was a good variety. We had a nice room with the view of the parthenon although the outside area is a bit loud.

The reception area is spacious, modern and fashionable. Excellent reception staff. Comfortable bed, luxurious amenities. Excellent telephone facilities particularly for business people. Double room is crammed, for one person. No space to move around. Little closet space. In bathrooms little space to hung towels or place cosmetics.

Rooms were clean and of good size. Friendly staff. Breakfast was acceptable but could have a better choice especially if you are a vegetarian. Bottled water is not complimentary and you have to buy from shops outside. The room had tea making facilities but room service only left 2 tea bags and 2 sachets of coffee every time and you had to request for more. Overall rooms were comfortable and would recommend if you are visiting Athens.
