There was stain on the sofa (2 circular spots) and sticky stuff on a stool. The bed must be so old to sink in, especially the center area. The location was perfect to walk to Acropolis and central city of Athens. However, it was so loud every night even with my ear plugs I could hear people talk, laugh and shout until 6-7 am. Breakfast from their assigned restaurant was amazing!

Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I can said was that the last night the elevator was out of service and my room was on 4th floor and I was checking out at 5am and was very difficult to come down with 3 heavy luggages, other than that location was perfect and staff were very nice always. I wouls stay again but ask for lower floor just in case.

We had a very pleasant stay at Artisan Suites. The location is excellent, almost on Monastiraki Square, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions. Our room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They gave us several great recommendations for local places in the area. The breakfast was fairly basic, but it had what we needed to start the day. Overall, Artisan Suites offers excellent value in a fantastic location, and we would happily stay here again.

We were happy that breakfast was included, which was not in the hotel but only a few minutes walk away. The suite has a mini-kitchen and livingroom, but we did not use it, as we were out all day! It was very spacious, but it smelled like it had recently been fumigated for cockroaches. It probably needed ceiling fans, floor fans and/or UV air purifiers to make it smell fresh again. The hotel was well located, with a 24-hour coffee shop nearby that served fresh orange juice and other food options. The staff were kind and patient. Personally, if I return to Athens, I will stay closer to the Acropolis train stop or return to my previous hotel the Royal Olympic Hotel!

We stayed in 1+1 suit and it was big enough with kitchen. Good for families but it has got very central location if you can't sleep in noise it is not for you. Otherwise it is closed to bars, restaurants, shops and metro station. Very convenient.

Clean, well kept suite. We used a third bed that was a sofa-bed. Very friendly and efficient staff. On Saturday night there were many people at the nearby restaurants and bars. Lively and very convenient location to main historical sites.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, within walking distance of the Acropolis and major museums, and surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars. While some nighttime street noise is to be anticipated, the hotel itself is very pleasant.

Pre Cruise Stay

We were in Athens to embark on a cruise and stayed at the artisan suites for three days before going on the cruise. The location is very central to the restaurant and bar district so it is very easy to walk to dozens of great restaurants and bars. Also an easy walk to the Acropolis. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Great stay in Athens

Big rooms, newly renovated, superb staff, great breakfast at Brunchers. My only complaint is the little bar across the street is quite loud until quite late, not the hotels fault, just a comment.

Great hotel in best location

First of all we were able to check in a little early which is always a plus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our rooms (it’s a suite) were huge! The location couldn’t have been better. Lots of wonderful restaurants and shopping and atmosphere. Elevator is small but we never had to wait. When returning to Athens this is where we will stay.
