“Should advertise for the proper time of year. Kitchen was closed. This is not located on the beach, has no balcony, can't open windows for a breeze, the walk to the beach is farther than made out to be! Checked in for a 7 day sabbatical, stayed one night, checked out the next day!”

“The standout feature of this hotel is the shower—spacious, with plenty of hot water, and easily one of the best I’ve experienced. The room itself was large, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for a relaxing stay. The property is located in a quiet, somewhat remote area along the water (not a beach), offering pretty views and even the unique sight of wild horses nearby. Check-in was quick and efficient, and both the hallways and room were kept in excellent condition....

“This is one of my favorite places to stay. It’s so quaint, clean and the staff is so friendly. The warm muffins and coffee delivered to your room in the morning to enjoy on the balcony overlooking the water is a huge plus as well. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Beacon! It is in a perfect location with great access to the beach. We loved the friendliness of the staff and other travelers. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring a white noise machine because you can hear what is going on outside, since it is an older motel that has been updated. We will definitely be back whenever we come to the beach!”
