"The bathroom was awful. The staff was rude."

"Overall hotel was clean but the condition wasn't great. The floors creak with most steps you take. The pool was under renovation while we were there so we couldn't enjoy that. I didn't like that the owner is making his staff do all the repairs and painting instead of hiring a professional painting company. The front desk staff was very nice however the housekeeping did a very poor job of cleaning our room, they basically just took the one trash can and gave new towels. Overall stay was okay, probably wouldn't recommend it. "

"Worst stay ever. Had it not been non refundable I would’ve left after the first night. We checked in and after getting kids settled realized the room was less than clean and lacking in basic items such as bath towels. House keeping watched me set out wet towels and then proceed to still leave them after I mentioned something to the front desk. The breakfast was horrible. The pool area had construction materials and garbage all over in addition to a broken pool ladder. When the toilet clogged I was given a plunger to go up to the room with. The stairs were closed due to construction. The elevator and lobby bathroom both smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Multiple times we needed an employee and they were difficult to find and ended up being in a corner on their phones. When I brought all of this to their attention at checkout I was told “you could’ve stayed somewhere else”. "
