“This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. “This is a hotel with real character. Built as a civic building in 1905, the hotel owner totally renovated the guest rooms but retained the beautiful interiors along the corridors, in the restaurant, etc. In the guest rooms, there is a rarity -- lots of electrical outlets! Also, as this building was built solid, guest rooms are quiet -- you hear nothing from the next room. All the staff (check in, restaurant, cleaners) were very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again. ”
