"This is a small, cute country hotel near Barssel/Westerstede. Driving out to the place we wondered if there could really be a hotel so far out of town, but yes, there it was! It is not a luxury hotel, but the price is very reasonable and the staff is wonderful. Rooms are clean and tidy. A nice breakfast is included that makes a great start to the morning. I would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed in a deluxe double which had a view out over the garden and on to the lake. The room was clean and tidy but there are no tra or coffee making facilities in the room. Instead there are some 'refreshment stations' placed in the corridor which work on an honesty system. Whatever you take you keep a note of and then declare it at checkout (I think). "The bathroom sink stopper was broken and there was no soap in one dispenser and very little soap in the other. Additionally, we are traveling by Electric Bicycle. There is a nice Bicycle Garage, but it does not have any electric plug-ins.. the staff on the telephone was responsive, but offered no solution to our need to charge our electric bicycle."
