The place was so clean and organized. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and cookware that made our trip SO easy. The bathrooms and bedrooms also had everything we needed for a very comfortable, weeklong stay.
Unacceptable Experience
We booked months in advance for a family trip after traveling 16+ hours from Hawai‘i. We emailed the property repeatedly through Expedia with basic questions (like early check-in), and never received a single reply.
Upon arrival, the elevator was completely out of service, forcing us to haul luggage and kids up 5 flights of stairs. The unit had a strong mildew smell, visible mold, and possible bedbugs, making it hard to sleep. We also endured extreme noise from a Halloween party directly across from Greek housing, blasting music until 3 AM — something never disclosed in the listing.
We immediately reported everything through Expedia, submitting photos and videos during the stay. We also tried calling the management number and got no help. Later, both the property and Expedia claimed they had no record of any contact from us, which was false and extremely frustrating. We were left feeling ignored, stuck, and dismissed while dealing with unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
After weeks of back-and-forth, including a call attempt at 3:36 AM Hawai‘i time, a partial refund was finally issued — which we do appreciate. But families should not have to fight this hard to be taken seriously.
This trip turned into a stressful ordeal due to poor communication, misrepresentation, and delayed support. I hope this review pushes for more transparency and accountability.
