Check in is from 3-4pm only. That’s kinda weird. Made for very long line up. Room had only 1 outlet. Our “queen” bed was just two smaller beds pushed together.

A solid but expensive hotel. Twin room was very small, smelled of smoke and had little in the way of room amenities. Service was friendly and the bar areas were nice. Due to the poor room, I would seek alternatives elsewhere when staying in this truly beautiful area.

Disappointed. This hotel was once a great place to stay but now it is run down and operates like a bad holiday camp. Client facing staff were rude. The issues of post Covid difficulties with staff, service, etc are irrelevant to a paying guest. The food at the evening meal buffet was pathetic for the price but you have everyone captive. Even if we wanted to more for better food and service there is no option .

The location was good , the staff were extremely busy but helpful. The rooms are very worn and are in desperate need of modernization. The pillows were flat are pointless . The bathroom was so old fashioned. Unfortunately i won't be staying again .

When we arrived it was a nightmare to get a parking space. Once we got into the hotel we had to wait in line for 30 minutes to even check in. Got into the room was very out dated was dusty and had crumbs in the drawers, my lamp next to my bed didnt work, there was a brown stain on the duvet, the bunk bed my daughters was sleeping in was very unsafe due to the ladder moving and the top barrier of the top bunk bed moved. The handle on the wall in the bathroom was coming away from the wall and the sink had curly thick hairs in it. When we woke up there was no running water. Would not recommend this hotel and would not be staying here again..

We arrived late to the property due to the delay in coming back from Isle of Skye but the guy in the reception was great, he was with French beard, super helpful. But in the morning the reception lady and the other person were a bit rude and was asking us to vacate immediately at 10 AM even though I said to them we checked in very late at around 3 AM and also with special needs child. But place is okay in general. Other thing is they should keep more shower gels in the bathroom as we have been given one small bath gel tube for 3 people which was not enough.

On my arrival, having tracelled for 4 hours I arrived 10 minutes prior to checkin. I queued for 50 minutes before getting in. On checking in I was asked if I was solo. I was. I was asked if I minded switching my twin room for a single room to accomodate the surprise numbers checking in. I agreed. I was happy to help out. When I reached my room I found the 'unable to swing a cat' adage sprung to mind. Luckily I'm not the heavy type. In order to use the toilet and shower one has to perform gymnastic manouvres and is required to slide past the door before clising same to afford sitting on the toilet. I could touch the shower door with my feet while sitting on the toilet. The noise around the place was deafening even with people passing by on the paper thing floors through the paper thin walls. Caaes rolling past sounded like major construction commencing. The dinner was fine but laid out confusingly. The buffet had the vegetables 1st, then the cooked meats meaning you had to pre think your choice of meat, fish, pasta, noodles in order to choose your veg. I had a glass of wine. It cost £9.50!!! Not a bottle, a glass. I stayed 2 nights and the weather was too wet to enjoy my outdoor pursuits so I enquired on my last night about staying an extra night (in a twin room). My 2 night stay had cost £138. I was told my extra night in a twin room would cost £89. I queried this and was arrogantly, smugly informed "£89, that's it". I left the following morning, rooms were priced £62 online!

I booked the hotel really late before staying. I booked while in the parking lot at 9:30 pm. I wish I could remember the young man's name that helped me. Talk with brown hair. Anyway, he was very sweet, kind and helpful. He even tried to call the last possible open restaurant to see if I could get dinner. He called back twice and waited on hold for a while to try whatever he could so I could get dinner. Anyway, I thought it was very kind and always appreciate that. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely stay with our grandson. The facilities at the hotel for kids is excellent. The soft play, pool and park were all worth a visit with the kids. We ate in the hotel for the 3 nights we were there. The food was lovely but not a great choice. Room was fine but could do with upgrading. Staying at this hotel you really need a car to get into Aviemore as it is a bit out of the centre.
