Poor standard room. Had to ask for bedding.....twice, and then were expected to take it to the room ourselves. Room had cobwebs and was very tired, and previousley cleaned by Stevie Wonder!!! Beds were unconfortable, never again!

This is an older motel, with friendly staff, clean sheets and towels and plenty of hot water. Free WiFi, easy to access on the southbound A1. They provide a self service continental style breakfast - bread, toasters, selection of jams/honey, plus cereals and juice. The rooms are a good size. We had 2 rooms at the back, so it was nice and quiet. The beds aren't as comfy as some I've slept in, but it was ideal for a stop off hotel. Cotey's, the restaurant in the car park is excellent if you don't want to drive far for dinner or want to buy a hot breakfast.

It's obviously a repurposed travel lodge, but that's a good thing A bit rough around the edges, but clean. Friendly staff.

As expected.
Warm and comfortable. Sensible price for overnight stay where a place to sleep is what is required. The sofa in the room had definitely seen better days.

The cleanliness is not the best, the room had pubic hairs as did the bathroom, the towel smelt like smoking, there was food on the carpet and the counter was filthy. Also the window were thick with mold, net curtains were also mold stained and hanging down in places. It is definitely a 2 star place

One night stop before Shuttleworth airshow
It was very good until we tried the shower the next morning, and it seemed to be blocked, and we couldn't get any hot water to come out of the sink tap or the trickle that came out of the shower. Other than that, staff were great and room generally was good too as was breakfast

We didn’t like the room we was in it had an old sofa dirty bathroom couldn’t close the bedroom window and didn’t like that dogs were welcome to stay had no bar or restaurant to sit down and eat your own food cos the breakfast was diabolical there was toast jams and limited cereal and tea and coffee in the reception area which was 2 metres wide by 3.5 long and nowhere to sit only had 6 chairs if you wanted a full English you had to go to an independent restaurant on site and pay for it for the price of the room that we paid for it you’d expect it to be nice and have a full English and better facilities we will definitely not be staying there again I think we should of asked for a refund or part refund to buy our own breakfast

They are purely if guests would like a light meal before they leave. We are the cheapest hotel locally, we cater for the price conscious traveller. There are hotels with the full suit of facilities nearby, they will of course charge appropriately.

Expensive Cab Ride!
Staff were great and really friendly and helpful. Room was tidy but think the place could do with a freshen up. Out of the control of the hotel but be warned that every cab firm around the surrounding area wanted to charge us over £45 for an 11 mile cab ride! They are clearly taking advantage of the hotels location. Airport run was cheaper!

The service and staff were very good. Unfortunately, the hotel and facilities could do with some sprucing up. My sister's room had a cold shower, they were told to let it run but she had already run it for 10 mins and no hot water. That wasn't rectified.
