This was my second stay at The Embassy Suites Baltimore. I was in a King Suite on the 36th floor, and the view was incredible. The room was a nice size, it almost felt like a small apartment. The bedroom was very comfortable. I really enjoy this hotel and I definitely plan on staying again. I would recommend it to anyone.
This was a terrible stay and on my birthday weekend. My room, although the view was nice, the room was crap! The toilet did not work the 2 nights I stayed and I purchased a premium king suite! Requested for toilet to be repaired; they sent a maintenance man up to the room. He arrive pretty fast and he was there for 2 mins just to say “It’s working fine to me.” My wife and I literally did not have a working toilet.
Also, called down to ask the front desk for additional towels and of course never received them. The towel rack in the bathroom literally kept falling off the wall. The bifold closet in bedroom was also broken so the closet door never closed.
I would have to say, I’ve stayed at a few Embassy Suites, this is by far the worst. I will never visit again. The only decent thing about this whole weekend vacation was the $5 parking.
The kitchen area in our room didn’t have a refrigerator, the elevators didn’t work so we had to take the steps, The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and it took them forever to shut it off. The hotel was a disappointment and ran down.

Ok stay
Check in was good. The room was very spacious and clean. We had problems with turning on the shower there was something wrong with the hardware. The walls in the bathroom could use a scrubbing. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom as well. The light cover on the ceiling outside of the bathroom fell and didn’t shatter because it was plastic thank goodness. We told person when we checked out and they didn’t seem bothered about it. We used valet parking and noticed when we got home that our black Yeti cup was missing.
The room temperature didn't work, even after maintenance workers came up and fixed it. The hot water didn't work in one of the bathrooms. A couple in the room next to us said they were moved to our floor after they found bed bugs. Our kitchen had dried food splattered on the cabinets and chair legs. The bench at the table was filthy and had food crusted around the cushion. We brought it to the front desk's attention but nothing was cleaned. Overall not worth the stay.
To start with, the thermostat in our room was broken, it said it was 58°, but it was so incredibly hot that we had to sleep with all three of the windows open and it was 18° outside. my two-year-old son was playing on the floor with his toys and he was picking up something and putting it in his mouth, and when I looked, there were leftover raisins underneath of the sofa left from somebody else before us. When I put my son in the bathtub that night, I noticed that the shower curtain was full of mold. When I pulled the comforter back on one of the beds that my six month old daughter and I were sharing, there was hair all over the bed sheets. What a total disappointment!!

Reservation for a family of four stated two queen beds. Got to room only to see one king. Went back to lobby, waited in line to get corrected room size. Got to room, now almost 1/2 hour later and it smelt of smoke. Dealt with smell due to long line at check in. I do have to give them kudos on morning breakfast. Lots of options.

The hotel should not be branded as an Embassy Suites. It is in desperate need of renovation. Staff could not be nicer, but no way to overcome the poor condition of the hotel.

What I did not like was not be able to bring breakfast back to our room as we have done on previous occassions. The room was nice but the temperture would vary through out the night. Im not sure if it was because it was a corner room or if it was next to a boiler room maybe. Not sure why. The cocktail evening was not as enjoyable with drink choices or the light snack. It really use to be nice!! Also, I was told I would get 20.00 discount because of the confusion with breakfast that morning and my husband was very upset that he could not bring me breakfast and I could not physically go because I did not feel well because of my diabeties. The manager at the front desk apologized and gave him a soda and told him he would give us 20.00 discount. Unfortuntely before We left I did not address again because I thought it was done. It was a big mess checking out as their were a lot guess leaving at the same time.
34th floor non suite king was a surprise, nice if limited (by window size) view to NE. Inner city location is convenient but not always comfortable. Used parking house next door rather than take advantage of pricey valet parking and it turned out to be quite secure and remote staff was observant and provided assistance when obviously needed (like I couldn't figure out how to swipe my ticket to get in and someone came on the PA to tell me how). Instead of leaving the parking house after passing through the access gate, I somewhat stupidly reentered and again was not badly inconvenienced because of observant remote staffing. More than you need to know? OK wouldn't hesitate to revisit.

Don't let the pictures deceive you. Its nothing like the pictures here. We got in our toom and the air wasnt working, hot water wasnt working either, the receptionist was awesome enough to change our rooms and the hot water was working but no air. It was a real struggle.
