Impressed by this hotel. Everything appears to be recently refurbished and is tasteful, comfortable and clean. We selected a Queen sized bedroom with a sofa so room was really spacious. Room 330. Good hotel. We had a suite with living area, so it was nice to have additional room. Nice air conditioning however, the unit in the living room wasn't as good as the one in the bedroom. Breakfast was good and you could sit on the balcony and eat. Even though the hotel is fully non-smoking, one morning a guest was smoking on the balcony when we where eating breakfast. He knew he shouldn't be smoking as he was hiding it, but very annoying when trying to enjoy breakfast with an inconsiderate guest at the next table. Car parking under hotel with a reduced cost. 10 min walk into the Old Town area of Bamberg across the bridge.
