Great hotel in a great area that’s central for seeing all the sites in krabi.

The hotel is quite nice. Unfortunately our room was full of mould and damp. The staff were very happy to clean the air conditioning vents but it didn’t help. The damp smell and mould in bathroom was concerning. The breakfast was very average most mornings we skipped breakfast. The pools were great. A quiet location, an easy stroll along the waterfront to shopping and restaurants.

Dusit Thani Krabi offers an impeccable standard for a resort. The rooms were big and comfortable, the beach and pool was nice and beautiful, the staffs are super helpful and friendly. A special shout out to the team at Club Lounge. They were such wonderful host, going out of the way to make my kids felt at home.

The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, my check-in experience was disappointing. I had called the hotel the day before to inform them of my 1:00 PM arrival and asked if early check-in was possible—offering to pay extra if needed. They assured me it wouldn’t be a problem, which was especially important as I was traveling with a baby and hoped to settle in before her nap. Additionally, I informed them that we would be arriving by boat at the back entrance and requested assistance with our luggage. They confirmed support would be available, but no one came to help. Despite all these prior arrangements, we were made to wait 2 hour and 40 minutes past the official check-in time of 2:00 PM. Another issue arose with my room booking. I had reserved a different room through Expedia, but upon arrival, I was given something entirely worse, I tried contacting Expedia multiple times, but their customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. The staff were kind, the food, and the facilities well-maintained. One standout was Christian Ramírez, one of the hotel directors. Originally from Cuenca, Ecuador—a city known for its highly educated and warm-hearted people—Christian embodies all those qualities and more. His professionalism, attention to detail was superb !
