The food for dinner was good but breakfast was ordinary. Important point is that the staff are driven hard to push you towards using their own drivers for excursions which can be a bit tiresome. "Outstanding property. Perfect location. Excellent breakfast. Outstanding coffee. Superior staff. Bicycles available to guests. Beautiful pool. A short walk to the Bridge Over the River Kwai. I sleep like a baby in their rooms. The laundry service is inexpensive. The staff address your concerns immediately and effectively. This hotel if the best value in Thailand. "

"I went to Kanchanaburi for a few days during a month long Thailand vacation and had a great time. The Glory Hotel was a great choice. Its staff was great. It was a very comfortable room and the location was quite good. I’d definitely stay there again. Breakfast was good and filling. "

Overall, a good stay

"The hotel is quite a long distance from Bangkok, but for a couple of nights it is worth a visit (and the 2-3 hour drive across from Bangkok). The setting on the river is beautiful. We have one of the rooms with the kayaks, and these are easily accessible/ readily available. The only drawbacks were that there really is nothing to do in the local area, and to get into the town centre the only option is to use the hotel's taxi service (no other local services or Grab options available). There wasn't much privacy for sunbathing at the top of the room we had, but this was no trouble really. All day breakfast, with bubbles available with this too, was a good touch of flexibility (with food options being tasty) good value for the price. Clean, comfortable and very conveniently located for the BTS and other local activities (street food, massages, night markets etc.). Transport to and from the airport is handy too, via public transport. Hotel gives two free bottles of water per day as well."

"Wonderful waterfront jucuzzi view. Breakfast was adequate with a beautifull view and attentive hospitality staff. Easy location for drinks and s few girlie bars and live music only a few minutes walk. I will stay at this hotel again in January and recommend it to other travellers "
