"Great location for my needs and loved the extra amenities such as communal kitchens on each floor, self-service laundry. I stayed in the King premium suite and the bed was very comfortable. The housekeeping staff was very attentive. The room service menu options were quite limited, reception staff members were ok."

"The location is truly top-notch—within walking distance to Eonju, Sinnonhyeon, and Gangnam stations. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me. Although Expedia listed this as a 5-star hotel, I would rate it no more than 4 stars. The room felt dated, the chair at the desk squeak upon any movement. Even small details like the retractable laundry line above the bathtub didn't work properly; after I pulled it out, the string failed to recoil back into the holder. Housekeeping was a major letdown. The bathroom floor mat was removed on day one and never replaced until my final day. A face towel was taken on day three and also not replaced until my last day. On day three, one of the bathrobes was removed and never replaced (though since I was alone, the second one sufficed), nor was I given bottled water. On my last day, the room finally had a floor mat, two face towels, and two bathrobes. I found a pumpkin seed under the desk, clearly left by a previous guest. One small positive: I was on a low floor and could open the window for fresh air, which was a nice touch. Prior to my stay, I messaged the hotel to ask about the airport bus at 2 AM and whether the airport bus served the hotel. I was assured that the bus does stop right in front. However, upon arrival at Incheon airport, I discovered this is only true after 6:30am. Given the price, the dated condition of the room, and the poor housekeeping, I likely won't return—despite the location."

"We came for a couple stay in March. I’ve to say I’m not a fan of the sustainability standpoint. Toothbrush is payable, toothpaste too. For $400-500 a night it’s definitely not something I expect. The pantry was stocked once through the stay so that’s a plus point, uber will pick you up quickly and conveniently at level 2 of the property. The worst part was the lack of air conditioning cause they mentioned it’s spring time or the start of spring, first day we requested for the fan however it was not available it was pretty unbearable and the second day they sent a fan once guests checked out. Our friend booked the same property hence we knew there was this option. Perhaps you should check whether the aircon is functioning during your stay before confirming the property. I’m not sure if this is a norm in Korea however we are headed to two other hotels after this and I may update my review. If you require to increase the speed of the fan you will also require the concierge to come up with the remote to adjust for you. Very inconvenient. The aesthetic and gym was nice but other than that it may not be ideal for couples. "

"The hotel is in a fairly good location away from the noise of Itaewon night life but close enough to almost everything. Beds were comfortable and the decor was modern and fresh with a youthful vibe. Staff were helpful as I had a little issue with booking via Uber app and they were quick to assist. The socket in the room is mostly 220 and you would need an adaptor. Coming from the US, I wasn’t prepared for this but they were kind enough to offer an adaptor or you could get one at a nearby convenience store. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and if you like some night life, this is also a good place. "

"The Grand Hyatt Seoul has a fantastic location above Itaewon with beautiful views, and that's about all it has going for it. The service was among the worst I have experienced at a hotel in this category. I repeatedly asked for housekeeping and no one ever came. Turndown service simply doesn't exist here. For a property charging luxury rates, these are basics, not extras. Credit where it's due: a manager kindly moved me to a renovated room, which was a welcome gesture, and breakfast was decent enough. But one helpful staff member cannot make up for a hotel that seems indifferent to its guests. If you are considering the Grand Hyatt for a Seoul trip, I would strongly recommend the Four Seasons instead — comparable location in old Seoul, and they actually understand what service means."

"1人旅で3泊しましたが、温泉もそれほど混まずゆっくりできました。夜鳴きそばやロビーの無料コーヒーなどもあり快適な滞在でした。スタッフも皆さんフレンドリーで完璧な日本語で案内してくれます。洗濯機が無料で使えるのもボーナスでした（乾燥機は別途有料) 一時的のようですが、空港行きバス乗り場もホテルの目の前で大変便利でした。確かに立地は坂の上にありますが、シンノンヒョン駅からホテルへの上り坂はそれほどキツく感じませんでした。オンジュ駅からのほうが下り坂で楽です。また韓国へ行く際は利用したいです。"
