โMy Room, was clean comfortable and welcoming.
Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed.
Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly.
A good stay.
Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issueโ

โClose to motorway but tucked away from any noise. Large car park, large pub and lots of amenities on your doorstep.
Limited Internet was my only problem but it may have been due to the storm.โ
โOnly spent one night here, very comfortable room and friendly helpful staff. Shopping mall opposite and places to eat nearby, breakfast was also good โ
โThis was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again.โ
โWe rarely get a break from our business so we are always so happy to find little gems like the Brocket. We loved the relaxed charm of the whole place. The roads accessing it may be a little windy & tight but Ayot is such a beautiful area it is worth the trip. โNot a particularly well equipped room. Booked a triple family room, a grand total of 4 pillows between 3 beds. 1 Coffee cup between the three of us. Air con motor was quite loud. The train line is very noisy, there is little / no insulation to this. If I stay again, I will ask for a room the other side as it woke us all up in the nightโ
โThe location is within walking distance to the town centre and the football ground.
The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms are clean but could do with the shower units being updating.
