Hacienda Margarita was located in a nice place in the mountains but dont know if they still fixig from the hurricane or they building more rooms, bed sheets feel humid and little smell, at 1st they gave us a room because the one for us was not clean we wait until the next morning then move to our panoramic room, no curtain shower on the 1st room.

Excellent Place. Peaceful and clean top to bottom. Even when they are right now in construction, expanding the facilities you can see everything clean and receive a wonderful first impression of the place. My only recommendation is that find someone different to attend the front desk because the person that is there right now do not have to skills to make the guest comfortable. Do not know how to talk and present a great customer service. He will be great backstage. Other recommendation, add to the updated to check the electrical connection, they suffer of a lot of down on the power and the air condition get low and not cool enough. But overall a give them a 90% excellent 6 anniversary retreat for me and my husband.

Wonderful, but call ahead to confirm reservation

This is a lovely location with amazing amenities and a beautiful view. However, the location has been seriously affected by Hurricane Maria. Part of the registration area and the once famous restaurant that stood on the property were completely destroyed. The guest rooms, the majority of which were built into the side of the mountain, withstood the winds and are in wonderful condition. It is my understanding after speaking with the concierge that they experienced some flooding during the storm, but thanks to their tile floors the damage, if any, was not a parent during our stay. The location is beautiful and the views were stunning from our balcony. The customer service when we arrived was awesome. The hotel is in a rural area, so getting around isn't as easy as grabbing a cab or Uber. The front desk concierge, Miguel, was so helpful and when went as far as to text us recommendations and directions for places to eat etc in the area. We had a nice experience and look forward to revisiting again. Warning: when we visited 6 months after Hurricane Maria, the the local area was still very much recovering, and this includes the hotel. Please call ahead to confirm your reservation prior to visiting the property. When my husband and I visited FEMA had requested a number of rooms in the property as staging grounds for recovery efforts and as a result a number of pre-existing guest reservations e cancelled at last minute.
