"I liked the space we had with the two bedrooms and living room area. For the price and the location, it was a good deal. One downside was that the Internet did not work. Breakfast was slim pickings but it's an inn, not a fancy hotel so it was kind of expected."

Basalt is a quaint town and is located between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. Few restaurants, so prepare for that. Very easy to take the RFTA bus to Aspen.

Very clean, quiet and quaint small town with very well preserved turn of the century architecture and charm, yet all the modern conveniences. Can't wait to return this summer.
