"This property was a dream, very clean room and friendly staff. We had a perfect view of the monastery. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. It was a perfect stop in our Portugal road trip. Will definitely stay here again."

"What a beautiful property and the spa circuit is wonderful from the steam room, cold plunge bucket, dry sauna to the indoor heated pool & Turkish bath. The rooms are lovely and the staff are so attentive. Breakfast was wonderful as well including omelettes made on request. Great location. The morning fog/mist rose up above the monastery, lovely. They have a conference room that can seat 100 people and I would definitely consider hosting an event there. 10/10 highly recommend. "

"Overall hotel was cleaned shame that staff wasn't welcome at all except a gentleman on breakfast who was amazing with us. The lady on the reception who seam to be from management team was on phone talking load on phone by the reception about person issues whitch l fpund not profissional as that could be discussed in private room "

"We were at the front entrance in the rain and cold trying to use the code given to enter. Nothing worked. Several phone calls got us in. Once inside there was confusion on how to get our key to the room. Finally a code was given over the phone to open a box containing our key, but no card to activate power ,lights etc. After more calls etc. We got the card. The room itself contained 2 tiny single beds so close together in a small confined space, it was difficult to get up for the washroom use....

"A really nice rural accommodation, but we didn’t get offered sheets and pillow covers. Not sure if this was a mistake or the norm, but it was the same for both units that we rented. The apartment was really clean, and looked to have everything you might need for a longer stay. This property is linked to a holiday park, which is a 10 minute walk away. "This is a wonderful hotel. Check in is efficient and also fun. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and with comfortable beds. We also really enjoyed our breakfast experience with eggs cooked to order. We didn’t get a chance to try their restaurant. There are many funky touches through this property and I imagine would be a lot of fun for a young child to experience.
