“A unique clean and quiet little cottage. I rented the smallest little cottage that is at the Rothesay Motel. The room was part of the original motel and the cottage was constructed in 1920. It is very small and really reminded of the inexpensive cottages we would rent when on vacation in the early 80's. I was by myself so the size didn't matter. “The owners, Maria and John are very friendly and accommodating! John remembered us from last year! All the restaurant food is homemade and very good. The views from the motel and restaurant are breathtaking, we saw an eagle, sea birds and dolphins!! The motel needs some upgrades, but as it stands, it adds to the experience! We will be returning for our 4th visit!!”

“It Is a motel, considering that, it does have road noise. It was very clean and well-maintained. The view out the kitchen window was nice. It had a nice deck on the Lake. ONLY negative was our refrigerator was a bit noisy. But that is to be expected. We stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay.”

We stayed in no. 11 which had a king size bed and it was spacious. We also had a portable air conditioner. The complimentary hot breakfast the next morning was delicious. We would recommend this property.”
