Il n’y a pas de climatisation mais ils fournisse un ventilateur alors nous avons été très confortable . ”
“This was our base during our visit to Normandy. Located in a central location to restaurants and shopping, it was a lovely historic hotel. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan - which was great. Staff was courteous and helped with all our questions. Taxis are readily available to get to the train station. Will stay there again should we ever find ourselves in Bayeux. Exactly as described. ”

“Nice older property a few minutes walk from the cathedral, tapestry and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Be aware no air conditioning and you have to pay to park in the driveway.”

We were in a stand alone house operated by the hotel. The only issue we believe exists, is the need for additional seating in the common area. Such as a large sofa.
The location is a few minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the tapestry. A great home base for Normandy battle sights.

Pleasant evening-turn downs with a room refresh given. Villa Lara is 1 minute walk from the Tours pick-up, the Cathedral, shops and great restaurants. Highly recommended. ”
