"The lobby immediately had me worried - poor decor, unkempt. The room was better but the bathrooms need work. Housekeeping left a wet towel on the floor of the shower - strange. I wouldn’t stay again unless I had to."

"Staff at the front desk were pleasant. Hallway filled w/a musky smell and sheets. Once in our room we were blinded by the outdoor light that shown directly in and SHOCKED to find what appeared to be drug residue(allegedly.) We work in the music & service industries so when we saw what resembled to be drug particles we immediately went back to the lobby to notify the manager. Manager took our concerns seriously & commented that he would be calling the police to file a report because he “knew who stayed in that room” (his words) the night before. He apologized, told us he would contact Expedia & begin working on a refund for the room. We accepted, thanked him & moved to the next room. In the new room, we were knocked over by the smell of bleach, an AC unit that even though plugged in, would not turn on, & a broken cold water tap in the bathroom along with a sink that wouldn’t drain. We had our 6 year old w/us so at this point, it’s 11:30pm & all things considered we were completely uncomfortable & decided to leave. When leaving the manager apologized again & reiterated he was going to submit a refund for our stay. We thanked him and left. A day later I reached back out via Expedia’s message feature to check on the refund HE OFFERED us & to see if he needed anything from us for the police report. I made a point to wait to hear from the property before I posted any type of review but its been almost a week and there has been zero contact from the property at all and no refund."

"The pictures made it look like the rooms faced inside when in fact they opened outside. We found a cockroach on our last day. I informed the front desk, who I'm pretty sure is the owner. He asked, "What do you want me to do?" I was appalled by his response. He should know to pest control his hotel! Terrible."

"Good points: Friendly staff Good breakfast Clean-ish rooms Access to main roads Close to excellent Chinese restaurant Points TO CONSIDER Honeless rate seems high and the people are alllwed to stay on the premises and come in to the kitchen to eat. If there’s no food, they will sit there and watch you eat. Nobody tells them anything Kitchen staff member complain the whole time about restocking items. I think she purposed my tretocjer the paper goods etc f to avoid restocking hot food. There were more good points than low knee. But I will never go tk Louisiana again."

"The lady at front desk was so rude. She also gave me a card key for a room with a man in it! Scary. When I went back down and told she basically told me to be quiet! When I asked for the manager she did not. The managers name was on the wall but she gave another name. Lier. I wrote that manager and now I know why this hotel is a disaster. The manager stated she’d call me but never did. When I wrote again I got no response. This is a hotel with no management and very rude and inappropriate employees; it’s deplorable. If you work in hospitality act hospitable!"
