Bayshore Gardens, Bradenton hotel rooms at the Best Western

"Did not have a beach view"

"The Expedia listing said “pay at property,” but I was charged through Expedia and then charged again by the hotel for the stay. On top of that, there were several hidden fees that were never clearly disclosed. The hotel charged $25 per day for parking in an almost empty lot, plus extra amenity fees for basic features that should already be included. The pools and other amenities were nothing special and did not justify the added cost. The food was overpriced for the quality, and I even found a bug in my room. Overall, the experience felt misleading and far more expensive than expected. Travelers should be aware of the extra charges before booking."

"Was fine rooms were nice but for a stay of 6 days cleaning the room could have been done on a better time frame . But all the staff and cleaning crew were very nice "

"This is an older motel, but a clean one. The front desk at check-in was friendly and helpful and the front desk at check-out was pleasant and professional, both matching their different personalities and equally a positive experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Delicious scrambled eggs (I'm not much of an egg eater, I don't necessarily love them but need a protein breakfast, so my saying delicious means a lot.) There were also sausage patties that were nicely cooked. I also had yogurt and a toasted English muffin, with coffee. I didn't think so initially, but there is water, next to the juice there is a fountain with a filtered water dispenser to refill water bottles. The coffee was not overly strong, another plus. I didn't care too much for the neighborhood, but I felt safe at the motel."

"Friendly staff, felt welcomed and cared for. Complimentary cookies from morning to night from their full service resturant near by. Borrowed beach chair/umberalla from hotel (relatively rare) and enjoyed a comfortable stay. Only downside, breakfast which was same menu everyday. "

"Old motel renovated to a want to be resort - but nicely done and clean. Not the best location, literally off highway ramp."

"This resort was nice. It's definitely more of an updated motel than a "resort" but that's what we were expecting from the pictures. It is an absolute must that you stay on the pool side if you have children because of the noise from the restaurant on that side. The pool was really nice and very warm and the hot tub was a great addition! I didn't love the fact you don't automatically get new sheets and towels everyday but other than that we had a great time . The location was perfect! "

"Only stay for 1 night. The things we didn’t like were that there were no outlets on one side of the bed.The toilet and shower compartments were not private at all"
