Beach Cities Jacksonville, Florida hotel rooms at the Preferred

Booked this hotel based on reviews and location too. Reserved day of and didn’t get my requests (top floor, view of ocean)….but the design is so good - spacious rooms with no stale hotel smell - that I was ok with a middle floor. Hotel was quiet, clean and very well thought out. I don’t think it was full so not sure why I didn’t get my requests (view of parking lot instead)…but the Millennial vibes were appreciated. Lack of carpet, full kitchen, wood accents. Simple and elegant for a mid grade...

Very clean, close to many diners/restaurants, very helpful staff! Short walk to the beach. Would stay again!

Pretty palm trees, friendly helpful staff, clean hotel, comfortable beds, third floor room has big walk in shower and separate tub, spacious room and bathroom, covered parking from sun and rain, convenient to beach, restaurants and shopping. Nice pool area and outside patio. Great breakfast!!

Not the easiest accessibility wise. Beautiful hotel but difficult to traverse with a physical disability. The parking is “far away” across from the hotel and not much parking, to be honest. I just needed a layover time to sleep and the beds were kind of rough, very firm but not terrible. It wasn’t all horrible, it was a very clean hotel with very clean rooms. It was just an accessible nightmare.

Super safe area with well lit parking. Friendly and quick reception with iced down drinks and snacks available at checkin. Foosball tables and comfortable seating araaa in lobby. Fast elevators and spacious clean room. Huge flat screen. Brand new linens. High end sliding shade. New hotel style furnishings eliminating need for drawers or a closed in closet. By far, best feature of the hotel is the pool area - it did not disappoint. Compared to so many other hotels, this pool has fun waterfalls which also provided shade. For the weekend we were there, it never felt crowded because the area in and around the pool is spacious. Loved how breakfast was a little different each morning - plenty of options. Never seemed like anything was running out. The bar and grill had great conch fritters - husband ordered them twice. Room was pretty typical but...

The surrounding view was absolutely untouchable! Rocking chairs, a lap blanket in January, a hot coffee and watching the sun rise and set over the water is a memory you'll never forget. Did I mention the dolphins?? You will regret staying ANYWHERE ELSE.

Beautifully renovated. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and comfortable. I recommend B&B Hotel to anyone who wants a luxury experience at a affordable price and a short distance from the airport.

The manager on duty was great

Perfect hotel if you need to to go to mayo Clinic, only one exit away , they have a shuttle which saves you a lot of money and walking. Wonderful staff, a great value.
