"One of these self serve hotels with little explanation of key operations. Like elevators. Check out was a nightmare. Breakfast was good but no one wanted to clean up the water hazard in the dining room. Bed was torture to sleep on. Room lighting system impossible to operate and there were no instructions. So called welcome drink was just water sugar and ice. Give this a miss. It is close to cruise terminal"

"Pros - 2 Large beds that were comfy and spacious - deck and pool area are small but comfy - near by to general stores - AC was nice and cold :) - Rooms were nice and clean - I left my airpods and they held onto them until I was back form my cruise, they have my respect Cons - my shower was flooding the bathroom and had to lay down towels - Getting replacement towels was a hassle and after certain periods good luck trying to get help of any kind - bathroom lock got locked and we were able to gain entry back in , called for maintenance to resolve but never showed and self resolved the matter ourselves Closing notes Its close to the beach walking and accessible to Ocean drive, after we got back from our trip we stayed at the Tony off 8th and I'll tell yeah this, we wish we stayed again here becuase I paid a lot at the Tony and the beds were horrible and the service was horrible so by comparison the Meridian was good compared , that also being said if you are going to want being closer to Ocean don't go to the Tony. thats my warning becuase if you want sleep you better off sleeping on the floor it was more conformable"

"We had alot of ants in our room and bathroom. They crawled on my girlfriend when she was asleep. They only give you two towels, and there is no availability for any more. Upon asking the front desk for towels, we where refused any extra. We had only 2 towels for 3 days and it was very uncomfortable considering we are in Miami and at the beach. We stayed 4 nights and our room was cleaned once. We will never come here again."
