โThis is a beautiful hotel. The decor is lovely. Great gym facility and indoor pool. The restaurants had excellent food and the staff could not be more accommodating. Proximity to the ferry for the Aran islands is a plus. We were so pleased and would return. โ
โLovely atmosphere in the lobby area, but would suggest a play area for children and also re-configure the changing room for women/children as flight of stairs is difficult to manage to/from the swimming pool and same also need to get through the gym area before/after swim which brings up a safety and privacy issue!โ
โWe enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town.
The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent.
While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands.

The location is perfect as there are pubs all around and there is a parking garage about a 5 minute walk away which was very convenient since we had a rental car! Staff were friendly and welcoming. โWe had a very comfortable stay at the Skeffington Arms in Galway. We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. The beds were comfortable, and there was air conditioning in each room. One of our rooms' air conditioning units was not working properly, and the room was a bit warm, but not bad. โThis must be the best hostel in Gallway. Everybody were super friendly. The hostel is new and everything works very well. We enjoyed the trad session (traditional Irish music) at the hostel on our first evening. On our second night we took part in the hostel dinner. This hostel is located in the center of town close to everything. I can warmly recommend the hostel.โ
