โWe couldn't fault the service, nothing was too much trouble. We had supper in the pub and the food was delicious, so much so that we couldn't manage a full breakfast the next day which was a pity. We will certainly be staying at the Montagu Arms again. The location was perfectโ
โWe had a problem our first night with the shower. The staff were so friendly, helpful and apologetic. Unfortunately they couldnโt fix it and they didnโt have the same or similar room available to move to that would have enough space for all of usโฆso they put aside a room just two doors down for us to use for showers. Not ideal but they were so accommodating that it really was no issue!

โA great place if you wana drive down the night before your cruise as its close to the terminal! Nice freindly staff, food exellent! The room was basic but clean as was the bathroom. We where in a downstairs room so we had noisy upstairs occupants so when they walked across the room you could hear the footsteps and floorboards creaking! Fire alarm went off in the early hours but that cant be helped! Not a bad stay and i would stay there again. Highly recommend the fish&chips๐โ

We were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. An example was a request for gluten free breakfast was made a perfect fried GF tasty sausage!
