A lovely hotel, 15 min walk from the train station and close to ferry terminal. Bus from airport stops close by. Can walk to Ritsuin Gardens in 25 mins.
Room was larger than Tokyo rooms, but still limited storage space as is the custom
Breakfast was superb. Western & Japanese food in a buffet style.
All staff were friendly and attentive.

Location was between the castle and the gardens. Lounge was not as nice as expected. Served the same snacks and breakfast each day. Very limited drinks (no soft drinks ) . Only one selection of sake and it was very sweet. Udon at breakfast was tasty . Lounge staff was nice.

"駅まで迎えに来ていただき助かりました。 周りにレストランはありません。そういう場所なのでこれは問題ではありません。 部屋は玄関の隣で、カヌー関係なものが玄関に干してあり、臭いが気になりました。カヌーをする人なら良いのかも。 部屋に鍵なし、でした。 2階に泊まった客が遅くまで居間でゲームをしていてうるさかったです。"
