"I recently had an amazing stay at Hamra Urban Gardens in Beirut. The vibe of the hotel is incredibly unique—it’s the perfect blend of urban cool and traditional Lebanese hospitality. The rooftop pool is a sanctuary in the middle of Hamra, and the whole place feels like a vibrant community. However, what truly made this trip unforgettable was the incredible people I was with. I want to extend a special thanks to Hossam, Fadia, Wessam And Samer. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience the true heart and soul of Beirut!"

Really enjoyable stay. The prices are really amazing for this place. The location "Hamra" is at a busy shopping area so there are lots of shopping options and also not far away from the ocean at all. It seemed like a common local place as well because of the wonderful cafe and gym that is also available to the public.

Stayed here several times now. Very practical place in terms of accessibility to several areas in Beirut. Clean. Great staff and service. Wonderful traditional Lebanese breakfast can be included. Fridge and safe in room. 24/7 power (not a given in Beirut) Only issue is the very loud pounding music on Friday and Saturday nights from the restaurant. Plan to use earplugs or stay up till 1:30am. We will be back soon!

Hamra Urban Gardens Beirut (room 408) +Smoke-free room. +Location, near everything, restaurants, cafés, grocery store. +Free and good Wi-Fi, air-condtion, refrigerator, kettle, safe box, TV. +Gym and bar. +Swimming pool (closed during winter time), couldn't see how it was, so no pictures from me. +Friendly and helpfull staff. -No water bottles in the room. +/- Didn't get to chance to try their food/breakfast as I had to leave early, but I did try the "cake" they have in the store next to the entrance. It's a nice place but the traffic around the area is chaos during the day if you go by car/taxi.

Pros are the staff were super nice, housekeeping staff very friendly, I thought the breakfast was good, though the same every day, got to work out for free in the attached gym, big plus. Now the reason for the low score are the cons, there is a club attached that plays loud music until 1am and the whole hotel is affected by the loud noise. I was on the fourth floor and felt like I was sitting inside the club it was that loud, plus cigarette smoke filled my room during the night, the club music starts nightly at 10p and ends at 1a, so if you stay here don't expect to fall asleep until after 1am. Since I didn't sleep well during my three nights I tried taking a nap during the day but the street noise is so loud in my room I had to check to make sure I didn't leave the window open and yup it was closed plus there was someone drilling in the room next to me, beside me, above me and all around me for hours, so no rest during the day or night. I stayed here for three nights and didn't get a good restful sleep any of those days. Plus no hot water at night. Again pros and cons to this hotel but you want a hotel to be a peaceful place away from home and I scored this place low because this was not that peaceful restful place for me
