When we arrived, we were informed there was a festival in town that weekend, and had to park at the train station two miles away. No way to drive in or out for the whole stay. "We received a good welcome and had a lovely overnight stopover on the way to Eastern France. The hotel is in a very peaceful location, the room was a good size. But the highlight above all that was the fantastic evening meal - the owner is also the chef. We paid 49 euros for three courses, but it went well beyond that with hors d’oeuvres and some wonderful sweet treats with our coffee. The hotel is dog friendly and there is a terrace for outdoor eating. On this occasion it was stormy so we ate inside where the dogs were also welcomed. We would like to return here next time we come to France."

"Shower unit was rusty in one corner . Was not aware that no transport from hotel to zoo was provided for elderly and infirmed people. My wife is 81 and walked with a stick so found the walk to and from zoo exhausting . We had booked VIP experience at zoo so had to do the walk or lose the money"

"We had a one nights stay here and it was absolutely fantastic. We stayed in the jaguar lodge and have some amazing photos. Our kids loved sleeping on the mezzanine floor. The lodge was spotlessly clean. We walked through the avary to access our lodge. Included in our stay was some time with the zoo keeper and we also got to go in and feed the african grey parrots. We loved how close you could get to all the animals in the zoo. We had the best family experience it was well worth the money, we would love to come and stay again."
