"We had the most lovely stay at Antico Borgo Etneo. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station, the property is gorgeous, our room was very clean and relatively cool considering we were in the middle of a heat wave. Great hospitality and a scrumptious breakfast (we’ll be thinking about that lemon chiffon cake for ages). We would stay again the next time in Calatabiano. Grazie a tutti!"

"Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. "The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "Check in was the worst I had to wait until 5:00pm as they gave me a room with an accessible bathroom that I didn’t want or asked for. Overall after that, everything was smooth. The food at the pool restaurant was good The beach is beautiful but water is very deep so if you have small kids that don’t know how to swim you are stuck at the pool. But realistically it’s like that almost everywhere. I would come back, hoping for more attention."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Belvedere! The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was clean, charming, and very comfortable, and the overall service was outstanding. Everything about our experience was first-class, from the beautiful setting to the excellent hospitality. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Villa Belvedere to anyone visiting Taormina. Five stars all around!"

"Overall an excellent stay. Our suite (with a private pool) was modern, clean and comfortable - most critically with a soft bed (italian beds are usually so hard) and effective but quiet aircon (so you could have it on all night). At the pool there are comfy sunloungers and we always had brand new fluffy pool towels. The main pool was usually very busy - but not an issue for us as we camped out at the adults pool. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Lunch and drinks at Lime Bar were also always to a high standard. The evening buffet, and the a-la carte restaurants were a bit hit & miss - the pizza restaurant the best of the bunch. Staff very helpful, maybe just too few of them on occassion. Note that this hotel really is off the beaten track. Brucoli village is close - but there is nothing there to see or do. Don't bother going and certainly pay for the water taxi from the hotel. Overall - thoroughly recommend."
