Good Budget location within easy walk of the sites
This is a great budget location situated within a couple minutes walk of the sights and with limited on street reserved parking of about 2 spaces. Room was a good size, it had a balcony and the bed was comfy.
I didn’t eat there but the food looked good. I would definitely stay there again on any future visits to Berat.
I stayed here for a couple days and had a great time. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The hotel is right in the city center and within walking distance to the bus stop, restaurants, and other attractions.
Beautiful room and very comfortable. Excellent location. Good value.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The area was great and hotel were very characterful, especially the lobby area which was delightfully heritage in it's design and appearance. The room was a great size and was very comfortable with a great view and original styled wooden shutters. The room was however very cold at times, the heating was not adequate for a room of that size. The room could also do with some upgrades such as a fridge and/or a safe. I would have preferred the rooms to feel more like the downstairs in terms of character, rather than just white walls. Would have been lovely to have a wooden floor in the room. The bathroom could also be updated to include a shower curtain or a larger shower area to aid in containing water. There were building works going on while we were there so don't know if updates are being made. Staff were very friendly and pleasant, was a really lovely stay.

Great hotel
A 3 day visit for us but could not have been more pleased. A central location with plenty of eating and shopping nearby. The owner is lovely and very helpful, the breakfast was plenty to start the day with. The hotel is super clean. We had a problem with the plumbing the first night but moved to another room without any fuss. Lovely mix of other visitors as well which is always interesting.
Lovely old building in the heart of Berat, with a real feel of history and tradition. We only stayed one night, but it was good. The bed was a little shaky, but the hot water was appreciated, as it was a cold day in April. We didn't have breakfast, as there was a great bakery across the road that opened at 7am but I think it would be good as the hotel is also a restaurant. We would happily have stayed longer, is we'd had more time. Parking is the only problem.
The hotel is located in Mangalem, the downtown area of Berat. From the bus station you can take the urban bus which leaves you about 50 m from the hotel (cost=30 leks). Check in was a breeze, courteous Rellana had everything ready and even printed me a bus ticket that I previously bought.
The room was very clean, with a balcony and 2 single beds, private bathroom and a/c... the temperature outside was up to 37C. There is an optional breakfast for 5 Euros.
Plenty of restaurants and shops around. The Berat Castle is 1.2 Km away. SUpermarket 850 m away.
There were street dogs barking at night, but this is nothing to do with the hotel. An old traditional family run hotel. Very friendly. Felt comfortable and welcome there. I would truely recommend this hotel. I stayed 3 nights. The bus terminal has changed and is now 3.7 kms away. I walked it. Took me 50 mins. The hotel is very convenient for everything. Berat is a beautiful town. Don't miss it. One little thing was the shower had a curtain around a shower tray. Curtains don't work, as you end up wearing it. They are a pain. The floor towel outside the show was sopping wet.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This hotel is a budget hotel in city center of Berat. You pay a budget price. A few CONS: The hotel is old and the A/C unit did not work so if you go in summer make sure you check that out before settling in your room. The bathroom is like a RV bathroom, the water goes everywhere. The bed mattress, you can feel the springs but there is a heavy blanket you can use to help comfort. It is loud, especially at night, as dogs are barking at each other all the time or you can hear cars and people on the street. It echoes so a bit louder. The breakfast is quite basic, a hard boiled egg with bread (not toast) an apple/orange and juice & tea/coffee. PRO: You can walk to everywhere, lots of eateries, sites, bust stops and bridges. The staff was nice and helpful. If you are just wanting a place to sleep for a day or two, this could be a good fit.
Unique beautiful old hotel, private parking is an overstatement, and the beds are old and lumpy and bad! But the price is great! And the place was clean and the family friendly enough.
Wooden windows and are broken , so at early morning is similar midday… cant sleep.
Bathroom with broken shower.
Not view.
Lobby: good decoration as photos.
Cleaness very good. Breakfast: satisfactory.
