Find another hotel. Food sucks.

Really unattractive dinnerbuffet. Staff turned away a couple who had not made a reservation even if there was lots of empty tables. They were the lucky ones, because the grill dinner buffet was so lousy. We stayed 10 nights in different hotels on this trip and this hotel was very much below the standard of the other hotels. No aircon even if they have recently upgraded the hotel. Come on. There has been heatwaves for the last many summers. The staff when checking in was also very indifferent to us. We did not feel welcome at all. Compared to all the nine other hotels we stayed at they could really need to up their game. Maybe there is too little competition in the area and they take guests for granted?

Ich verstehe, dass für knappe Güter Preise verlangt werden. Weshalb das im Dezember für einen zu 90% leeren Parkplatz gemacht wird, hat andere Gründe, nämlich Zusatzeinkommen für's Hotel. Damit fällt ein langjähriger USP des Hotels. An der Küste sind Parkgebühren nachvollziehbar, aber in Bergen? Das haben auch andere Gäste so gesehen.

Wir fahren gerne 2-3 mal pro Jahr nach Rügen, und Patkhotel Rügen ist unsere Favorithotel weil es ein Hotel ist wo alles klappt! Grosse Zimmer, schöne Bette = ein gutes Schlafen. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Ein höfliches und hilfbereiches Personal. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstückbuffet. Und: Keine Kurtaxe !

Frühstück ist gut ohne spitze zu sein. Qualitativ super, die Auswahl könnte größer sein (Räucherfischauswahl anbieten statt nur Heringssalat. Zudem würden echter Frischkäse, Pancakes/Crepes und Omelettes das Angebot verfeinern). Für seine Gäste kann ein Hotel zwar nichts, aber es wäre doch möglich, die Eltern mit den dauerhaft kreischenden Kindern in den durchaus ebenfalls sehr schön gestalteten Bereich vor dem Hauptspeisesaal zu platzieren, um sowohl den Familien als auch den (in einem Wellnesshotel durchaus Ruhe suchenden) übrigen Gästen gerecht zu werden. Auch im Wellnessbereich wäre es super, wenn die lauten Gäste vom Personal aktiv darauf hingewiesen würden, dass es sich um einen Ruhebereich handelt. Zudem haben weder offensichtlich völlig erkältete Leute noch Leute, die ihr Handy mit in den Nacktbereich nehmen und dies zücken, dort etwas zu suchen. Insoweit fehlte ein „Aufsichtspersonal“, wenn parallel Anwendungen stattfinden. Die Anwendungen werden professionell und sehr wohltuend durchgeführt (danke an Fränce!). Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal und schönem Wellnessbereich/-angebot. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
