It was a nice place, a bit out of the way, but we were able to book it when in a bind due to our original booking at a different hotel being dirty, and damaged. The service was prompt and kind, the breakfast in the morning delicious.

Fantastic stay in Berlin

The hotel is slightly cheaper compared to the rest of Berlin, and it has nice equipments like the gym. When i had to arrive earlier than the check-in time, the staff have accepted to prepare my room in advance so i could rest in my room without waiting in the lobby. Great comfort, the S-Bahn is 5 minutes walking and the tram is by the hotel entrance.

welcoming friendly staff

The staff were really good in looking after guests.. I would have preferred coffee/tea making facilities in room rather than a descent to ground floor. Having a disability made it difficult for me to carry drinks around so I felt trapped into sitting near the coffee machine to drink. To ease pain a hot water bottle is good for me but without the means of heating water again a problem. To be able to have an evening meal at the hotel would also have been great rather than have to seek out local restaurants, especially with all the roadworks currently all around. The inflexibilitty in changing nights booked was an issue ahead of visit which I felt was totally unnecessary on the hotel's part.and did blight opinion of the hotel ahead of visit.. Access to local transport systems within around a five minute walk is good with good services

Despite this hotel being roughly thirty minutes from downtown Berlin by train (though it is twenty-five minutes from the airport, which is why we considered it), everything else about the property was outstanding: the staff, the room, the amenities, and the view from our room. Would definitely stay here again and other Ibis Styles hotels.

Uncomfy bed

The pillows look big but shrink down to nothing when your head hits the pillow. They were terrible. Bed was hard as a rock. Hardly slept at all for 2 nights.

Buffet staff were extremely rude and unfriendly. Front desk staff at the weekend appeared to be poorly trained and not supported.

Hotel is in general good, it’s basically what you can expect from an Ibis Styles Hotel. Rooms were modern and clean, bed was comfy. The air-con of the whole building was broken, which was an issue due to 30 degrees Celsius outside. Due to the Special Olympics which were held in this week in Berlin, the prices of the hotels in general were quite outrageous. But next to this two issues, it is a good place to stay for one or two nights, especially if you’re on a business trip and don’t spend much time in the room anyways.
