The Old Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Its such a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms were so big and spacious with everything you need. The bar and breakfast/dining room restaurant really yum. Wonderful views, lovely gardens, free parking. Wild life on the lawns whilst having dinner. I loved it. The only drawback, it is not good water pressure for shower, but the bath was massive."

"The property was great we had a lovely big room comfy bed big screen to bathroom was really clean we looked out onto the courtyard which was really big and plenty of parking spaces. The staff were very friendly and efficient we had our evening meal there which was lovely not over priced too the drinks were also reasonable priced the breakfast was really good which was included in the price. Would definitely recommend this place it’s outside of Bridlington but only 15 mins by car it is a very quiet and peaceful place"

The Lairgate Hotel

"It is essential to have an email from the hotel, setting out the procedures for the code entry to the hotel, finding your room number and getting your room key. Instead of o reception there is a mobile number for any problems. We have stayed at the Lairgate before and this time we were very pleased with our recently refurbished room. The only problem was the absence of a bedside cabinet on one side of the bed. The bathroom was excellent. Towelsand bed linen were first class. No breakfasts. Went to Wetherspoons a few doors away. Dinner choice was one. A 7 course dinner at £50. We didn't try it. Very good , comfortable bar with Dan, a very pleasant barman. We really enjoyed our stay. Even with its limitations we will explain going again."

Ibis Hull City Centre

"For a budget hotel, the Ibis is a cut above. The rooms are not large but the beds are extremely comfy. The shower cubicle is large with plenty hot water. The room is spotless and as a sufferer of an allergy to dust mites, I can state that I did not encounter any problems. The TV worked well with a wide range of Freeview channels. This has improved from before."
