I am writing to provide feedback regarding our recent one-night stay at your property during an extended trip to Big Bear. Overall, we found the accommodation to be pleasant and conveniently located.
We had requested an early check-in, understanding that this is subject to availability. However, we observed that housekeeping staff appeared to be completing their work closer to 3:30 PM. Consequently, we received the access code around 3:52 PM, just eight minutes prior to the official 4:00 PM check-in time. While not a major issue, it made the early check-in request effectively unfulfilled.
Upon settling in, my uncle attempted to use the television in one of the bedrooms but found it inoperable. When I immediately contacted your team for assistance, I was informed that the remote control was missing and that a replacement could only be delivered the following day. Given our scheduled 11:00 AM check-out time, receiving a remote at that point would have been impractical for our brief stay, so we politely declined.
Another point I wished to raise concerns the trash disposal policy. We were informed that guests are required to transport their trash to an off-site disposal area, which was approximately a 19-minute drive from the property. This was an unexpected and somewhat inconvenient requirement, particularly for a short, single-night stay.
