โEnjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldnโt have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot! โ
โStayed at the Light Horse Inn for two nights. Absolutely loved it. You have to manage expectations because this isn't an ultra modern hotel with a restaurant, bar workout facilities, etc. However if you love history, antiques and the charm of a very unique stay, Light Horse Inn is for you. โOur room was nice. I liked the bathroom. The laundry facilities are great and they provide detergent at the desk. Their breakfast area is very nice. The only thing that I didnโt like is where itโs located in regards to making it easy to go back into Hagerstown. โ
