Big Thicket National Preserve, Texas hotel rooms at the Independent

"Looked like mold in the bathroom, breakfast was ridiculous for 120 a night!"

"This is the second time I've been asked to review this Hotel. I don't know how clean the property is or how well it was maintained. THERE WAS NOT A HOTEL ROOM AVAILALE! ALSO, THEY CLAIM THEY DO NOT ACCEPT 3RD PARTY BOOKING LIKE HOTELS.COM. So instead of asking me how my stay was, please let me know how this is possible and when i should expect a refund."

"Friendly staff facility was clean. The only issue I had was the door on the third floor, locked from the inside how to use a key."

"That is the first and last time we will ever stay there. Toilets are stained bath tub was stained. The sliding door to the balcony wouldn't close all the way. The outside windows were boarded upon most of the building they had to come and fix the tv. Worst condition ever."
