Great hotel with lots of character. The lobby/entrance is beautiful. Room was huge with lots of attention to detail. Food in the restaurant was amazing, tye bar was the perfect place to relax also. Overall a great stay, staff were great and would book again. Keep up the good work.

Not quite what we were expecting
When we arrived at the hotel, we were impressed by the elegance of the foyer and the lovely staff member on reception who was welcoming and informative. However, when we entered our room, myself and my partner were disappointed. It looked incredibly tired and in need of an update. Two of our lights did not work, despite trying many plugs and as we were only there for one night we did not want the hassle to ask reception to organise for them to be fixed. There was also only one small bottle of water that we had to share; surely there should be at least two bottles? All in all, myself and my partner were not overly impressed by the appearance and standards of the room and we were expecting a lot more from a well reviewed hotel.

the elevator was incredibly slow and tiny, the rooms were cold, there was no refrigerator, no towel rails, no safe and the heating did not work. The room was also noisy, the entrance was inaccessible. I will never say here again

Friendly staff lovely comfortable room
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, perfectly clean, bathroom was large and well appointed. Air con was quiet and worked very well. Bar staff were fast and made a great cocktail.
