Really funky and young hotel, nicely located close to Resorts World and for us the airport. However be aware that early morning the connection between the hotel and the airport, via the NEC and Birmingham international, isn't open. Bit of a longer walk. I stayed here 18 months ago and they appeared short-staffed and 1 lift was out of order and I wasn't too impressed. But this time it couldn't have been better. Helpful staff, quick check-in and check-out , good breakfast and everything worked and was clean. I'd say they've got their act together. Perfect stay for stopover for the airport or business meetings in the area, and right next to the very useful resorts world complex.

The view from the Moxy Hotels overlooking the lake was beautiful and very relaxing. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable, offering a good selection of both hot and cold options. There were plenty of pastries, a variety of breads, and a range of hot drinks and juices to choose from.

Although I did not take a pet, I did notice a jar of dog treats that made it clear pets were welcome. My room was clean generous, with a view of the lake, and tea, biscuits and cartons of water replenished daily. Breakfast was varied with fun touches, and the staff really were great.
