We really enjoyed the Red Roof plus Inn and Suites in Bessemer. The hotel is fairly new and still has a new smell. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the atmosphere of the hotel was nice. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. We really liked the new touches provided as well.

It was a very good stay. I thought there would be some type of breakfast otherwise it was good. The 3rd floor hallway smelled like smoke and some of the outside doors to rooms could use some touch up paint. Inside of room was nice.

This hotel is a pleasant surprise! It's right off the interstate, EXTREMELY clean, new, smells amazing, and top tier customer service! The staff does a great job ensuring you feel accommodated as a guest. I do hope the property management can continue to invest in the property and staff so that this level of quality can continue. Adequate for a road trip layover. It was quiet and bed was good. It was clean and pool was inside and open. The plus part of redroof inn was a mystery because there were zero perks. No breakfast, coffee kurig in room did not work ( coffee downstairs was good) and ice machine on our floor was kaput. Overall if you want a quiet nice bed go for it. Cheapest in area for a Sat. Night. Walkable to cracker barrel and wafflehouse.

Not what we expected. You have lost our business.

The hotel elevator did not work and we were on the third floor. This non smoking hotel smelled like cigarettes and marijuana all night. The staff was friendly and the beds comfortable. It needs painting throughout! Very dingy. Stairwells filthy with food and drink containers and nasty carpet.

Towels were stained and dirty. No shower or hand soap. No coffee in common area and staff said manager is only one that can fill the grounds & she wouldn’t be there until 8am. This was at 5am. Tub was so slick we had to put a bath towel down for safety. Check in clerk was wonderful though.

It was okay

The clerk at check in was not overly friendly and her customer service was not great. The room was clean. It was what you would expect for what you're paying. However it had containers for toiletries on the wall that they don't bother to check apparently because there was hardly any soap. And the door didnt fit well, I could see the hallway light through the side which should have been sealed. That was concerning for a woman staying by herself. I gave it a rating of okay. Not bad, but not good.

Great Atmospher, Rooming, & Staff! I've been in Bessemer for work for 5 months now. There are 5-6 different hotels walking distance from each other here so l initially stayed at the most expensive one in the area for 3 weeks. Went home for a week and decided to try this location when I returned. They have exceeded all expectations for the cost. I have been a back and forth resident for over 4 months now. I appreciate the level of professionalism the staff have provided not to mention the cleanliness of the rooms. You can tell that they were recently upgraded and the suites that I have resided are beautiful. The level of attentiveness that the staff provides is unmatched! I left the previous (double priced hotel) because the staff refused to address noise complaints and other issues. Here, I don't have to complain about noise because they uphold a standard that is much appreciated. Additionally, in the 4 months that l've been here, l've only had 1 issue... my AC was struggling one early morning. The manager swiftly responded and offered to move my room while they worked on the issue as to not to disturb me. I declined and agreed that it could wait while I was at work. I came in the following day to all issues rectified (a simple filter change) & a freshly cleaned spotless room. The beds are super, comfortable, the appliances are all new, and again the STAFF are amazing. This place has become my home while I'm away from home. (My ONLY issue is this hotel doesn't offer break fas
