"We’ve stayed at the Tombstone Grand Hotel before and had a good experience. The staff was outstanding. They were friendly, responsive, and did everything they could to help.
When we checked in, we were assigned an ADA-accessible room, which wasn’t an issue. However, the shower mats were visibly dirty, which wasn’t a great first impression. We also discovered that the air conditioner wasn’t working. They immediately the maintenance technician who said it was unfixable. The staff quickly moved us to another room. The second room was cleaner, everything worked properly, and we appreciated how quickly they resolved the issue. That said, both rooms felt a bit muggy, even with the air conditioning running. It may have been due to the summer heat.I was also a little disappointed with the photos on Hotels.com. The pool and fire pit much smaller and they did not have an indoor/outdoor pool, which was listed. One thing we did enjoy was the beautiful evening view and how close it was to Tombstone. The hotel offered a family movie on friday unfortunately, the movie was Tombstone and it wasnt approriate. During our first night, we also lost power because of a storm. Of course, that was completely outside of the hotel’s control. Overall, I would rate this hotel as average. It’s conveniently located which makes it a great location for a quick overnight stay. While the staff was exceptional and handled our room change promptly, I’m not sure we would stay here again.
