The manager was very accomodating and gave me a room w car park in front and close to the office. This was very helpful to me! The bed was really big and fluffy and comfortable.. Everything was clean and frig and microwave enhanced the convenience. Thank you!

Better than expected

For a road side motel it was clean, cute, and quiet. Some amenities were lacking (washers were not working properly and we didn’t have towels in the room) but otherwise I was pleasantly surprised by the room.

Bedding stained, and who knows last time changed. Property is a mess compared to what use to be a couple years ago. Toilet did not work and owners knew: had to plunge every other time used. Have stayed at this property multiple times over the years for fishing. Understand it was never 4 star, but there was a time it was clean, there was maid service, etc...spend a few extra dollars a night to stay somewhere else, or bring your own bedding and portable toilet.

Old school

Im a senior and i really appreciate old school service and property. We had 3 rooms everyone was happy. We asked about the brewery just down the street and got a recommendation for good burgers. Spot on. I would recommend Bishop Inn and stay there again.

I just slept there and I survived. It was a little dirty: a few spider webs, stains in the sink. The bed creaked every time I got in and out. on the good side: The TV was fine and had some cable channels, had an in room microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The room was also pretty good size. Parking was good. It was a little hard to find at night; at first I wasn't sure if it was a hotel or an old apartment building; It could use some lighting and a new sign. I did get a good deal on the room so maybe I would go back?

I didn’t expect much for the price as far as decor, but the cleanliness was so poor. There was toothpaste spit and a body hair in the sink. It was sickening. I had to wait for 10 minutes in an empty reception area for someone to check me in. Staff was polite and apologetic. After a tiring drive 10 minutes felt very long.

Repair before allowing people to stay

The hotel manager was nice and friendly and gave us some good recommendations. However, the hotel did not have hot water!! The drain in the tub and subsequently the other drain in the bathroom did not drain and backed up, which smelled terrible. Yes, both issues can be fixed but you should not let people stay in a room if there is no hot water/drainage. We got a refund and left. I also don’t like when there is a “pool” advertised but when you arrive the pool is disgusting, half full and full of green/brown water. Very distasteful.
