Hotel handy for theatre and the promenade. The room was very cold when we arrived and it took couple of visits from the staff to get it to acceptable temperature. The bathroom stay cold throughout our stay , so we didn’t shower . The staff were helpful and friendly.will stay again

The hotel was central. Staff were friendly. Ticked a lot of boxes for a short stay next to sea front and bars.

The room was adequate. Access room so a large shower room. Sea view but windows steamed up so couldn't see out. The double glazing was poor and needed replaced. We had a heater which kept the room reasonably warm. Friends had the breakfast we didn't book it . The breakfast consisted of cereal, toast and cold boiled eggs the same each day. Near the Tower Ballroom which is what we wanted for our dancing event there.

The staff member who checked us in was fantastic, comfy bed, good size room - could have done with a comfortable chair or two. However, the bathroom was mouldy with broken tiles, carpet was ripped & lifted, tv was either red or green tinged, the entry smelt strongly of cigarettes continuously.

Great value and great location

The location is excellent, great value for money, the staff are super helpful and friendly. Stayed here a few times and great if you’re going out for a few drinks, or staying a short weekend.

I stayed at this hotel for four days, and overall the experience was just okay. The biggest issue was the condition of the room. There was very poor ventilation and barely any space, which made the stay uncomfortable. The room also looked nothing like the photos shown on the website, which was disappointing. The carpet, bathroom, and even the walls were covered in dust, as if the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. For a hotel stay, cleanliness is the bare minimum, and unfortunately this fell far below expectations. The one positive was the location—it was convenient and easy to get around. However, the hotel itself was not clean, and it’s not somewhere I would choose to stay again or pay for in the future.

Hotel was clean, a little weathered in places, a bottle of water would have been nice on arrival, was good to have a double bed instead of two single zipped beds, made it very comfy, good location opposite north pier, easy access to get around everywhere
