" Good location on the edge of town, convenient for the buses along the North Norfolk coast. Short walk into the town. Ample car parking on the street or in the yard. Room was not overlarge but was clean and had everything needed and the decor was good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Continental type breakfast ample and varied. Altogether, a very positive experience and we would be happy to book again when we come to Sheringham."

Raised Beach by the Friary Hills, Blakeney. The trackway runs along a raised beach which probably dates back to the post glacial sealevel maximum. The furze covered slope is the old cliff line with small valleys running up to the south. These valleys were probably cut by solifluction action during periglacial conditions as the Devensian terminal moraine lies just to the south along the Cromer/Kelling Ridge.
